The material streams

By preventing anything from turning into waste, we’re addressing the major issues of scarce raw material shortages and CO2 emissions. In almost every case, the recycling of residual waste into new raw materials leads to CO2 reductions. In 2010, Van Gansewinkel Groep gave 77% of waste a second life as new raw material or turned it into green energy. And in the process of giving 56.7% of waste a second life as raw material, we also saved the equivalent of 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
